Maude Hazel Baugh, 97 of Normal passed away Sunday, August 6, 2017 at 1:26am at Advocate Bromenn Medical Center, Normal. There will be a funeral service for Maude on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at 1:00pm at Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington. Pastor Jason Collins will officiate. There will be visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens, Bloomington.  She was born August 15, 1919 in Normal to Otto A. and Maude Brown Schenkel. She married Elbert Baugh in Bloomington and he precedes her in death.  She is also preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters. Maude is survived by one son, Jack (Cindy) Baugh of Danvers, and one daughter. Six grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive. For many years she was the bookkeeper for Elbert Baugh Excavating until 1967 when they sold the business. She loved quilting and crocheting. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
